Building on a Solid Foundation with Farm Bureau
Stanislaus Farm Supply took its first steps towards becoming the region's premier farm supply organization in 1949. With the support of the Farm Bureau, a small group of county growers led by Joe Sousa, Fred Thiemann, and Maurice McDonald created a grower-owner business to meet the needs of area farmers.
While other grower-owned companies and ag suppliers have gone out of business in the past 59 years, we've been able to survive and thrive by adapting to change. We're proud of our heritage as an affiliated co-op of Farm Bureau, which is known nationwide as the voice of agriculture and works hard to improve the financial well-being and quality of life for farmers and ranchers.
Although Farm Supply has grown dramatically in the past few decades, we're still a very small enterprise in many ways. When you're a farmer-owned company, the local growers—not big-city investors—drive the way you do business.
The bottom line? We’re committed to building long-term relationships built on trust. We know that trust is never given. It is earned—always. |
