Scholarships Support the Next Generation of Ag Leaders

Stanislaus Farm Supply has established three $1,000 scholarships to benefit students’ interest in pursuing a career in agriculture or related fields. The three scholarships are named after past leaders of Farm Supply who died as an officer or director of the company.

• The Fred G. Theimann Memorial Scholarship honors the Farm Supply corporate secretary who served from 1949 through 1980. You can apply for this scholarship at Stanislaus Farm Supply.
• The John Boer Jr. Memorial Scholarship honors the Farm Supply director and chairman who served from 1956 through 1982. You can apply for this scholarship at Modesto Junior College.
• The Iver K. Brand Memorial Scholarship honors the Farm Supply director and chairman who served from 1969 through 1993. You can apply for this scholarship at Merced Community College.

Applications for the John Boer Jr. and Iver K. Brand Memorial Scholarships can be obtained from the respective college. Deadline for the Fred G. Theimann is July 31 and the others are determined by the two Community colleges.
